Kyjov City Hall is currently launching a unique project to revive the local economy in cooperation with the Corrency system, which will distribute 800,000 Czech crowns in the form of corrents for up to 2,000 Kyjov residents. They will be able to spend them at registered merchants based in Kyjov. The list of registered businesses will be updated on an ongoing basis on Facebook page of Corrency and the city of Kyjov, as well as on the Corrency website and on the website of the city of Kyjov. We launched the registration on December 11, 2020 and will last until the beginning of the project. We were obligaded to postpone the outset date due to the current epidemiological situation. We will inform you about the new start date. Kyjov residents and merchants will take part in the pilot project. The project will be in operation for 30 days. We will distribute 800,000 Czech crowns in the form of corrents to the residents of Kyjov town, who will be able to spend them at local merchants also based in Kyjov. The participation in the project is not limited. This activity will lure back customers to newly reopened stores and it will help them with the promote of their business.

Every citizen with permanent residence in the town of Kyjov has the opportunity to participate. Every registered person will receive CZK 400 from the Corrency system in the form of corrents in to their electronic wallet. Residents will be able to spend corrents at registered Kyjov merchants for 30 days of pilot operation. The first 2,000 Kyjov residents who register for the project will have the opportunity to participate in the project.Get involved
The pilot project is open to local merchants, retailers, craftsmen and service providers who apply for the program from December 11, 2020. We will help them restart their business, attract customers back and make their business visible through targeted promotion. The number of merchants is not limited. The pilot project aims to support not only Kyjov residents and local Kyjov merchants but also community centres in the town. We plan to offer citizens a 50% incentive, for example, for a cinema and other cultural events organised by MKS Kyjov.
